How Findit operates
Findit is an online marketplace, listings, booking, ticketing and community platform designed primarily for foreigners, international students, residents and businesses in Poland. Users may discover, compare, contact, book or purchase from independent providers, professional sellers, private sellers, event organisers, employers, property advertisers, vehicle sellers and trusted partners. Findit also supplies selected services directly.
Every listing identifies the applicable role before the user submits an order or makes a payment:
- Provided by Findit — Findit Sp. z o.o. is the contractual supplier and is responsible for performing the service, issuing the relevant sales document and handling complaints and applicable refunds.
- Independent business provider or seller — the underlying product or service is supplied by the identified business. The provider is responsible for performance, legal compliance, invoicing and consumer complaints relating to its supply.
- Private seller — the seller is acting privately rather than as a business. Consumer rights applicable to purchases from professional traders may not apply.
- Event organiser — the identified organiser is responsible for holding, postponing or cancelling the event. Findit may provide ticketing, booking, marketing and payment technology.
- Advertisement only or trusted partner — Findit publishes or promotes the offer on behalf of the identified advertiser but does not become the supplier merely because the listing appears on Findit. “Trusted Partner” describes completed verification checks and is not a guarantee of quality, performance or future conduct.
- Job, property and vehicle listings — each listing identifies the employer, authorised agency, property advertiser, owner, broker, dealer or private seller responsible for the offer. Publication on Findit does not itself make Findit the employer, property broker, landlord or vehicle seller.
Where online payment is available, checkout identifies the contractual supplier, total amount payable, any Findit platform or ticketing fee, the amount allocated to the provider, the entity responsible for invoicing and the applicable cancellation and refund rules. Payments are processed by the licensed payment provider identified during checkout. Findit does not describe the payment arrangement as escrow unless an approved payment product expressly provides that service.
Consumer withdrawal
Where a consumer buys goods or services at a distance from a professional business seller, the consumer generally has a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, subject to applicable legal exceptions. This right does not normally apply when the seller is a private individual. Category-specific cancellation, return and withdrawal information is shown before an order is placed.
