1. Scope and relationship with other Findit documents

These Payment and Payout Terms govern only a transaction for which the relevant Listing or checkout expressly makes online payment available. They cover payment authorisation, Platform fees, refunds, reversals, provider settlement and related risk controls. If payment is not enabled, the user must follow the enquiry or direct-supplier route shown on the Platform.

These Terms supplement the Terms of Service, Provider Terms, Privacy Policy, transaction-specific checkout disclosures and the licensed payment provider's terms. Mandatory law and the payment provider's regulated obligations prevail where applicable.

2. Current feature availability

Payment methods, booking options, reserves, refunds, payout-related functions and other transaction features may differ by country, city, user type, supplier type, category, approval status or payment-provider configuration. The specific Listing and checkout screen control what is currently available.

3. Supplier, invoice and payment recipient

Checkout must identify the Contractual Supplier, the total amount, any Platform fee, the payment recipient or merchant presentation where required, and the party responsible for invoicing. Payment facilitation by Findit does not make Findit the supplier unless the transaction expressly says so.

4. Provider personnel and subcontractors

A Provider remains responsible for services performed through employees, workers, assistants, agents or subcontractors. The Provider must ensure that each person is appropriately authorised, competent and insured where required and complies with privacy, safety and professional duties. Using another person does not transfer the Provider's contractual responsibility to Findit.

5. Payment partner role and no banking custody by Findit

Online payments, if available, are processed by the licensed provider identified at checkout. That provider may perform card or bank processing, authentication, refunds, chargeback handling, KYC, AML or payout services under its own terms.

Findit is not a bank, payment institution, electronic-money issuer, deposit-taker, lender, remittance provider, currency-exchange provider or independent escrow agent unless the relevant authorisation and service are expressly identified. A Platform ledger is an operational record and is not a protected bank deposit or electronic-money balance issued by Findit.

6. Platform service fee

Where Findit charges a platform, booking, advertising, subscription or transaction fee, the applicable amount, calculation method, allocation and taxes must be displayed in the relevant dashboard, commercial offer, Listing or checkout before the user becomes bound. A fee shown in an older document, promotional page or another country does not apply unless it is also shown or incorporated into the relevant transaction.

Findit may configure a fee to be paid by a Provider, a Customer, or shared, but the total payable by a consumer and the identity of the party responsible for invoicing must be presented clearly before payment. No hidden fee may be added after the order is placed except a charge expressly authorised by the user or required by law.

7. Buyer payment authorization

A buyer is charged only after completing the checkout or booking flow and confirming a payment obligation through a clearly labelled button or equivalent action, such as Buy and Pay, Book and Pay, or another unambiguous payment confirmation. Before payment, Findit should show the main transaction details available in the relevant flow, including the seller, item or service, price, delivery or completion method, applicable platform fee, payment method, cancellation or return information where relevant, and incorporated legal documents.

8. Payment confirmation and failed payments

An order is treated as paid only after reliable server-side confirmation from the payment provider, not solely because the browser returned to a success page. Failed, cancelled, expired or unconfirmed attempts do not complete payment. Duplicate or inconsistent confirmations may be investigated and corrected.

9. Conditional settlement and payment-provider reserves

Where the checkout expressly provides a delayed-settlement, reserve or conditional-release feature supported by the licensed payment provider, the payment provider or Findit may delay an instruction to pay out the relevant transaction until the disclosed release condition is met. This is not described as escrow, deposit protection or a guarantee unless the regulated product expressly provides that protection.

If no such feature is displayed, the transaction must not be represented as protected by a Findit hold. A complaint or statutory remedy may still result in a refund, chargeback, payment-provider investigation or direct claim against the Contractual Supplier.

10. Payout timing and release conditions

The applicable payout timing is the timing displayed to the Provider for the relevant category and payment method. It may depend on settlement by the payment provider, transaction completion, cancellation or complaint status, required handover evidence, verification, banking days, reserves and risk review. Historical 12-, 24- or 48-hour examples do not create a promise unless repeated in the current transaction flow.

Where completion evidence is used, it may include a Customer confirmation, timestamp, service note, carrier scan, PIN, QR or NFC handoff, or another proportionate record. No single record automatically determines a complaint; all relevant evidence may be reviewed.

11. Extended holds and risk reviews

A payout, refund or payment instruction may be delayed where reasonably necessary because of a complaint, return, missing evidence, suspected fraud, payment reversal, chargeback risk, duplicate-account risk, sanctions or legally required verification, tax reporting, authority request, payment-provider instruction or technical settlement failure.

Any delay should be proportionate, documented, reviewed periodically and limited where practicable to the affected transaction or reasonably connected exposure. Findit will provide information and a review route where required by law, while information may be limited where disclosure would undermine fraud prevention, legal duties or another person's rights.

12. Buyer complaints and payout suspension

If a buyer opens an eligible complaint within the applicable issue window, the seller payout for that transaction is suspended until the complaint is resolved, withdrawn, rejected, settled, refunded, returned, released, or escalated according to the Findit flow. Eligible complaints may include non-delivery, seller no-show, missed booking, materially different item or service, damaged goods, unsafe goods, counterfeit goods, missing components, wrong item, hygiene or allergen issue, failure to perform, or another material breach supported by evidence. Findit may request evidence from both sides, including tracking, delivery scans, handoff PIN, service completion records, photos, videos, packaging proof, carrier reports, receipts, invoices, chat history, listing snapshots, return tracking, and category-specific safety documents.

13. Fair evidence review

Findit or the Contractual Supplier may request proportionate evidence such as Listing snapshots, communications, invoices, carrier records, photographs, service notes or handover confirmations. Evidence is assessed in context; a timestamp, QR, NFC tap or automated signal does not automatically decide the outcome. Access to evidence is limited to persons who need it for resolution, compliance or legal claims.

14. Seller response duties in payment disputes

The Provider must respond to a payment dispute, return request or evidence request within the deadline shown in the Platform or communicated by support. The deadline must be reasonable in the circumstances and must not shorten a mandatory consumer right. Failure to cooperate may result in a decision based on available evidence, but does not automatically prove liability.

15. Returns and refund timing

Returns and refunds are governed by the identity of the Contractual Supplier, applicable consumer law, the transaction terms and the payment provider's process. A trader must honour withdrawal and conformity remedies within the statutory time and may withhold a goods-withdrawal refund only where law allows, for example until the goods or evidence of return are received.

Perishable goods, sealed hygiene goods, custom-made items, dated events, fully performed services and digital content may be subject to statutory exceptions, but a Platform category label does not itself remove mandatory rights. Refund arrival can depend on the original payment method and provider processing time.

16. Refund funding, offsets, and negative balances

Refunds may be funded from the held transaction amount, seller ledger balance, future payouts, payment partner reserve, or other amounts payable to the seller where legally and contractually permitted. Findit may apply a proportionate right of offset for unpaid platform fees, pushed or shared buyer fees that must be returned, chargebacks, payment reversals, carrier audits, refund exposure, tax reporting corrections, KYC/AML holds, proven review fraud, anti-circumvention debt, or other amounts reasonably connected to the seller account. If a refund, chargeback, fee, adjustment, or penalty creates a negative seller balance, Findit may deduct the amount from future payouts, request repayment, limit selling functions, or refer the amount for collection where proportionate and lawful.

17. Chargebacks, payment reversals, and bank disputes

A chargeback, card dispute, bank reversal, payment partner investigation, suspected unauthorized payment, duplicate payment, failed settlement, or fraud alert may suspend payout release even if the ordinary release window has passed. The seller must cooperate with evidence requests for chargebacks and payment partner investigations. Findit may debit the seller ledger for chargeback amounts, chargeback fees, reversal fees, refund amounts, and reasonable evidence-handling costs where the seller's transaction is affected and the debit is permitted by law and payment partner rules.

18. Payout account, KYC, AML, tax, and DAC7 checks

A Provider must supply accurate identity, business, tax-residence, beneficial-owner and payout information when reasonably required by Findit, the payment provider or law. Payouts may be unavailable or delayed if required verification is incomplete or inconsistent.

Findit will collect and report seller information under DAC7 only to the extent Findit is a Reporting Platform Operator and the seller or activity is reportable under applicable law. References to AML, sanctions or KYC checks describe checks that may be required by a regulated payment provider or other law and do not imply that Findit independently performs regulated financial services.

19. Platform accounting records and payouts

The Platform may display pending, paid, refunded, reversed, disputed, reserved or payable amounts as accounting labels. Those labels do not create a bank account, electronic-money wallet or unconditional right to immediate withdrawal. Any payout is made through the configured payment provider and is subject to the current provider terms, verification status, banking days, technical availability and lawful risk controls.

20. Currency, failed payments, and carrier adjustments

Unless a checkout flow states otherwise, Findit ledgers and fees are calculated in Polish zloty (PLN). Banks, card issuers, payment schemes, and payment partners may charge currency conversion, international transaction, failed payment, or bank handling fees outside Findit's control. If integrated shipping, carrier label, courier, pickup, or delivery tools are used, the seller is responsible for accurate weight, dimensions, parcel content, declared value, pickup details, and prohibited-item compliance. Carrier audit charges, failed delivery charges, return-to-sender charges, or underpaid label adjustments caused by seller data may be offset against the seller balance where lawful.

21. No off-platform payment requests

Where an approved Findit checkout is available for a transaction, a Provider and Customer must not use Listings, chats, QR codes, external links or offline contact to move that Findit-sourced transaction to cash, bank transfer, crypto, a private wallet or another method for the purpose of evading disclosed Findit fees, review verification, tax reporting or applicable transaction and safety controls.

This clause does not prohibit a payment method that the specific Listing or enquiry flow expressly permits. Enforcement must be proportionate, connected to evidence of deliberate circumvention and subject to any notice or appeal right required by law.

22. Complaints about payment services

Complaints about the Platform's payment interface or instructions may be sent to hello@finditeu.com. Complaints about regulated payment processing may need to be addressed to the licensed payment provider identified at checkout. Complaints about the underlying goods or services should also be directed to the Contractual Supplier. These routes do not remove chargeback rights, statutory consumer remedies or access to competent authorities and courts.

23. Changes to these Payment and Payout Terms

Findit may update these Payment and Payout Terms for legal, security, payment-provider, product or operational reasons. Consumers and Business Users will receive the notice required by applicable law. A newly configured payment method, reserve, payout process or fee applies only when the relevant checkout, dashboard or commercial terms make it available and disclose its conditions.
