Prohibited and Restricted Items and Services

1. Scope and decision model

This policy applies to Listings, profiles, messages, community posts, advertisements and transactions. An item may be prohibited because it is illegal, unsafe, deceptive, not approved by a payment provider or outside Findit's risk appetite. Findit may require manual review or enquiry-only publication even where the underlying activity can be lawful.

2. Illegal, stolen and counterfeit items

Prohibited content includes stolen goods, burglary tools promoted for crime, counterfeit or pirated products, forged documents, fake tickets, unlawfully obtained credentials and items that infringe intellectual-property or personality rights.

3. Weapons, dangerous materials and controlled substances

Weapons, ammunition, explosives, hazardous chemicals, illegal drugs, controlled medicines, drug paraphernalia promoted for unlawful use and instructions or services facilitating serious harm are prohibited unless a category is expressly approved with all legal and safety controls.

4. Unsafe and recalled products

Dangerous, recalled, non-compliant or inadequately traceable consumer products may not be offered. Traders must provide manufacturer, responsible-person, identification and safety information required for distance sales. Findit may use Safety Gate information, prevent relisting and notify affected users or authorities as required.

5. Financial and deceptive schemes

Unlicensed currency exchange, remittance, crypto brokering, investment solicitation, loans, account rental, payment-card use, money mules, pyramid schemes, fake fundraising and arrangements designed to evade tax, sanctions or payment controls are prohibited.

6. Jobs and exploitation

Trafficking, forced labour, discriminatory recruitment, illegal placement fees, misleading wages, document confiscation and unregistered employment-agency activity are prohibited. A job Listing must identify the employer or authorised agency and may be restricted until KRAZ or other required status is verified.

7. Professional and regulated advice

Users must not falsely claim legal, immigration, medical, tax, financial or other protected professional qualifications. Guaranteed permit, visa, court, medical or investment outcomes are prohibited. Such categories may be enquiry-only and require identity, licence and advertising review.

8. Food, health and allergens

Food providers must comply with registration, hygiene, storage, labelling and allergen duties. Unsafe home-kitchen sales, concealed allergens, unlawful health claims, expired food and products requiring unavailable cold-chain or age controls are prohibited.

9. Transport, vehicles and luggage

Unlicensed passenger carriage, unsafe vehicles, odometer fraud, stolen parts, concealed commercial transport and carrying unknown luggage or packages for strangers are prohibited. Ride sharing or delivery offers must not disguise a regulated transport business or facilitate smuggling.

10. Housing and discrimination

Fraudulent property, unlawful deposits, hidden broker identity, discriminatory exclusions prohibited by law, unsafe accommodation and offers designed to evade tenancy or registration duties are prohibited. Findit does not authorise brokerage by hosting an advert.

11. Sexual exploitation, abuse and privacy

Sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, abuse of minors, doxxing, stalking, threats, trafficking, sale of personal data and surveillance services intended for unlawful use are prohibited and may be escalated urgently.

12. Animals and environmental harm

Illegal wildlife trade, protected species, animal fighting, mistreatment, unlawful breeding and products obtained through prohibited environmental harm are not allowed. Lawful animal services may still require licences and welfare controls.

13. Circumvention and repeat abuse

Users must not evade removal, verification, payment, fee, location or category restrictions through alternate accounts, coded language, off-platform links or misclassification. Findit may link related evidence and restrict repeat offenders proportionately.

14. Reporting, enforcement and appeal

Anyone may report a suspected breach. Findit may request evidence, limit reach, suspend transactions, remove content, notify payment or safety partners and report to authorities where lawful. Affected users receive reasons and an appeal route where required, except where disclosure would prejudice safety or an investigation.

15. Property, recruitment and parcel fraud patterns

Prohibited property patterns include deposit, reservation or rent demands before a genuine viewing or verified contracting process; a purported owner abroad who refuses identity or authority checks; payment for keys through an unofficial channel; fabricated property media; and harvesting identity documents without a lawful, proportionate purpose.

Prohibited recruitment patterns include candidate-paid access to vacancies, interviews or placement; jobs conditioned on buying training, equipment, invitations or work-permit services from the advertiser; guaranteed earnings disguised as employment; non-existent jobs used to obtain documents or money; and an employment agency acting without required registration.

Prohibited parcel patterns include carrying sealed or unknown packages for strangers, using another person's address without a legitimate disclosed purpose, undisclosed cross-border contents, forwarding passports or identity documents without lawful authority, and any arrangement that may facilitate smuggling, fraud or identity theft.
